The Robert Ricks Legacy Foundation was founded in honor of Robert Ricks a devoted family man known for his compassion, dependability, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Inspired by his legacy of service and meaningful care, our foundation is dedicated to strengthening families, uplifting communities, and creating opportunities that support healing, education, wellness, and hope for future generations. Through scholarships, outreach initiatives, mentorship, and community support, we strive to continue a legacy rooted in compassion, reliability, and love for others.

SUPPORTING FUTURE BLACK MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
One of our core initiatives is the development of scholarship opportunities for Black counseling students pursuing careers in mental health and community care.
Many counseling students face financial hardship while completing unpaid internships, balancing work, family responsibilities, and educational demands. The Robert Ricks Legacy Foundation seeks to provide encouragement, support, and opportunity to students committed to helping others through the counseling profession.
